Meet the presidents.
I just had a great weekend in D.C.! Julie, Carrie and I visited one of our dear friends and one of D.C.’s newest residents, Autumn. One of the highlights of the trip was getting a tour of the West Wing! We got to see the Oval Office and everything. Kickball Champs!
After a long, hard-fought season of kickball, our team rose to the top at the tournament this past Saturday! It was an awesome day. Gorgeous weather, lots of beer, eight hours and four games later, UVA made it to the final game. We beat our rivals, Auburn Blue, and won the Alumni League Champ title. Unfortunately, we lost to the independent division champs, but by then we didn’t even mind! It was still a great day of k’ball.
Thanks to all of my teammates for accepting me as a “Wahoo.” I had such a great time, despite the knee injury, and can’t wait till next season!
