And the winner is…
(ATLANTA) June 28, 2007 – Dave Fitzgerald, president, Fitzgerald + CO, presented Anne Reeves with the Davie Award at the agency’s monthly staff meeting today. Fitzgerald + CO, a $200+ million ad agency that is part of IPG’s McCann Worldgroup and one of Atlanta’s most prestigious agencies, is known for its brilliant creative work, talented employees and energetic, fun workplace.
Once each month, Fitzgerald + CO employees gather to view new work, meet new people, celebrate and drink cold adult beverages. And at the end of each meeting, Fitzgerald awards the Davie (named after and very loosely designed in the likeness of the agency’s fearless leader himself) to the person who has gone out of his or her way to espouse the mission and values of the company.
Fitzgerald presented this month’s award to Reeves and said, “Your clients love you, we love you and thank you for all you do for us.”
When asked why she nominated Reeves for the Davie, Ellen Hartman, Reeves’ boss and president of the public relations division of Fitzgerald + CO, said, “Simple. I nominated Anne because she’s great with her clients, her team and she’s a Kappa Delta like me.” She added with a wink, “We KDs stick together!”
The consummate public relations professional, Reeves was overheard saying, “I am thrilled and excited to receive the Davie. And pleased, too! I’m thrilled, excited and pleased.”
In addition to the Davie Award (photo below) sitting on her desk the month of July, Reeves received $250, which quickly burned a hole in her pocket.
